# Meet the Prosthetics Team

Glenn Hutnick, CPO CTP  Glenn has been a Certified Practitioner since 1979. He opened his clinical practice in 1980 and has focused his career on prosthetics in socket development and fabrication methods.

Glenn was the founding father of NAAOP in 1987, and its first president.

Glenn and his team bring over 40 years of experience in clinical, technical, research, and education in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including 25 years of CAD modification and fabrication experience to the team at Spinal Technology.

When Glenn is not working, you can find him enjoying golf, fishing, traveling, and cooking with his wonderful wife Diane, two adult sons Jonathan and Gregory, and daughter in-law Alicia.

My superpower is to visualize the prototype and bring it to fruition. Then I make a virtual model of the prosthetic or orthotic device to then have them 3D printed to test fit with the patient. I'm an outdoor adventurist. So when I'm not at work, I love hiking, biking, snowboarding, and camping. My favorite foods are any form of soup: chicken noodle, pho, ramen, hot pot, etc. Being a California native, my teams are 49ers and the SF Giants.

I trained at UDB in El Salvador, and a Cenepa War veteran recognized for my service and heroism. As a former military parachutist and experienced skydiver with the Ecuadorian Army, I bring discipline, resilience, and technical skill to my work in patient care and rehabilitation. Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor sports, especially skydiving, and I am actively involved in community initiatives.

When I'm not at work I volunteer with the Cenepa Heroes Association, supporting war veterans and their families through advocacy and outreach. Most of the time I can be found sampling local Ecuadorian cuisine, playing soccer or listening to a wide range of music, including pop, electronic, salsa, merengue, and Latin rock.
