S.T.O.P. Orthoses
(Spinal Trauma Orthotic Positioning) - (OTS) Off-The-Shelf (Rigid)
Overview
The prefabricated S.T.O.P. (Spinal Trauma Orthotic Positioning) braces are made up of a series of modular components that offer a combination of trunk support and ease of fitting based on standard body proportions for both male and female patients. Each anterior and posterior section is made out of a (Rigid) polyethelene plastic lined with foam and have adjustable velcro straps.
These are (OTS) Off-The-Shelf orthoses.
There are four different styles of S.T.O.P. braces.

Spinal Indications
The S.T.O.P. orthosis is suitable for a number of diagnoses and conditions, including spinal fractures, kyphosis control, osteoporosis and spinal stenosis.
S.T.O.P. 1 & 2 - Features
- The S.T.O.P. 1 & 2 have female anterior section with a breast cut out, (pictured).
- The S.T.O.P. 1 & 2 are available in a bivalve open with tongues design.
- The S.T.O.P. 2 orthosis is MRI compatible.
- Anterior section with full abdominal available.
- Posterior spinal relief.
- Removable liner allows for ease of cleaning.
- Rigid molded side panels for lateral stability.

S.T.O.P. 3 - Features
- The S.T.O.P. 3 is a bivalve open with tongues design.
- Sternal shield with axilla straps or shoulder straps— allows extension control.
- Posterior spinal relief.
- Accommodates volume changes.
- Removable liner allows for ease of cleaning and replacing.
- Rigid molded side panels for lateral stability.
- Additional liners available.
S.T.O.P. 4 - Features
- S.T.O.P. 4 is a bivalve open with tongues design.
- Adjustable anterior sternal shield can be used with axilla and/or shoulder straps.
- Posterior thoracic extension with shoulder straps.
- Posterior spinal relief.
- Maximum adjustability and thoracic stabilization.
- Accommodates volume changes.
- Removable liner allows for ease of cleaning.
- Rigid molded side panels for lateral stability.
