What is a Kyphologic Brace?

The Kyphologic brace is used to correct Kyphosis and stabilize adult patients. This style w/ Anterior opening & “Cow Horns” that attach laterally and allows for a corrective force at the apex of kyphosis.

Kyphosis is the normal forward curvature of the thoracic spine. A posterior convex angulation of the spine as evaluated from the side (roundback). Contrast to lordosis.- SRS.org
